Description
Glide is a 40wt polyester thread from Fil-Tec. The thread is made with Advanced Trilobal Technology that allows it to maintain consistent tension throughout each and every spool. The results are high quality, consistent stitch formation, fewer thread breaks, and fewer machine stops. The thread runs virtually lint-free and has a wonderful eye catching sheen.
Use it for machine quilting or machine embroidery. It will work equally well doing either or both.
Due to the differences in computer monitors and printers, the color displayed above may vary slightly from actual product. We always recommend comparing colors using your Glide Color Card. Awesome as always Angela’s quick turnaround on orders is outstanding. This is a beautiful thread, which I can get from other suppliers. But why do that when I know Quilted Joy has such great customer support. Love their service!

I am working on a children's clothing quilt that has frankly had me stumped from design to layout to colors. Basic neutrals just didn't give the effect I wanted. I had seen that several people keep a lavender thread in their arsenal as a neutral so I chose this amethyst on a hunch and I believe it will be just what I was looking for.
