March Renter Roundup

Renter Roundup March 2024

The extreme chill is finally on its way out and Spring is just around the corner.  I am so excited to be able to enjoy the sun again without layers of flannel and wool.  But just because we no longer need a warm cuddly quilt to snuggle under, doesn’t stop us from making them!  Here are a few of the quilts that we saw this March.

Sara's Classic Quilt

Renter Roundup March 2024

First up we have Sara.  She brought this lovely quilt in to finish.  She used a digital pantograph called Pansy.  I think it was a great touch for this classic quilt.  I believe she is giving it to her granddaughter.  What a lovely job she did!

Cindy's Colorful Quilt

Next we have Cindy.  Don’t you just love the bright colors!  It looks amazing in batiks.  I believe she’s had these jelly rolls for awhile until she could find the perfect pattern for it. This is a pattern she found at Missouri Star called Flying Geese Log Cabin. She used a fiery variegated thread and a pantograph called Spin which is floral actually, but with a lovely tropical feel.  All over great choices made on this quilt!

Sharon's Block of the Month Quilt

Renter Roundup March 2024

This is Sharon.  Her quilt was a block of the month from My Sew Quilty Life.  It was her Year of Spools quilt.  At first I didn’t see all of the spools, but there is a spool in every single block. Isn’t it cute?!  And then to top it off, she chose to quilt it with our Spools digital quilting pattern.  I just love these types of quilts.  They’re so much fun.

Donna's First Quilt

Renter Roundup March 2024

Next we have Donna.  She was a Rental Certification student with this little beauty.  She chose to use IQ for her class and quilted the digital pantograph, Champagne. It’s such a fun design for her quilt, I think the round bubbles really add to it.  Usually, quilters don’t bring in such great pieces to be their first.

Mary's Bookshelf Quilt

Renter Roundup March 2024

Last but not least we have Mary’s bookshelf quilt for a granddaughter.  Amongst all the bright covers, there are embroidered titles right off her shelf.  We picked out a pantograph called Tamarack wood grain.  We felt it added to the wooden nature of the bookshelf as well as the linear nature of the books.   She used orange Cuddle on the back so this quilt is soft and snuggly.  Didn’t it quilt up nicely?
