Take a look at Tracey’s beautiful LeMoyne star quilt! It had all of us swooning in the shop while it was here.
What do you think of the way she framed the main LeMoyne star with partial stars? I haven’t seen a variation like that before. Does anyone know if this particular version has it’s own name? Let me know in the comments section below!
It has such a lovely vintage feel, especially with the floral prints for the main stars and the solids around them. There were so many ways to quilt this, and as you can probably tell the quilting would really sing on this quilt!
We agreed a more traditional edge to edge design would be best. I think the feathered pantograph we chose looks amazing. It’s like the feathers were just sprinkled on top!
Tracey found the perfect backing fabric here in the shop, the Sweet Cream 108″ wide Beautiful Backing.
When she came to pick up her quilt Tracey was so pleased!
