I’m so excited to announce Quilted Joy will be hosting a Longarm Schoolhouse on August 26-29. We’ll be practicing our free motion quilting skills in 4 hands on classes and learning new ways to fill in common shapes and big spaces in 2 design classes. Come back in the evenings for two fun and informational lectures and view some of my favorite quilts I’ve quilted over the years during a trunk show. You can sign up for these classes and lectures individually, or attend them all with the Longarm Schoolhouse Package. Part of why I’m so excited is because many of these classes are new and you won’t find them on DVD or online. While I wish everyone could come, space is limited, so be sure to sign up soon! See the full Longarm Schoolhouse Schedule below:

Modern quilting is going through a transformation. The piecing has broken stereotypes, but the quilting on modern tops can be boring for a longarm quilter. Learn new ways to approach modern quilting through a geometric filer that will give you an express lane entrance to modern quilting.

What she didn’t realize at the time was how patchwork would be a lifeline through major struggles in the years to come. In this popular trunk show and lecture, you’ll laugh and cry with Angela as you examine the creative journey that brought so many surprises and triumphs all with a quilty theme!

Ha! I’m glad to see that you decided to go ahead with the Big Ass Borders class idea. I’m sure it will be a huge hit. If you teach that one at MQX next year, expect to see me in that class. 🙂
