captainThings have been very busy, but we are all celebrating the end of the school year. My triplets are THRILLED and have big plans for the summer. We just finished up spring soccer and GooseyGirl was the captain of her team. I was very proud as I watched her lead her team. patty

Meanwhile, in the shop, I was so happy to help Patty finish up her quilts for her twin grandchildren who will be born in the next few months. This was the first time she used a longarm, and she did great. The top was made of a panel, and she used microfleece for the backing. She chose to use the design boards that have cute little teddy bears on them. I was especially happy to have Patty working in the shop because her husband was friends with my dad. I’ve missed my dad so much lately, and it is nice to be around those who have a connection to him.

Take a look at Jennifer’s latest finish. Isn’t it beautiful?!?jen

  1. Angela: Our twins have arrived! Maverick and Maxton were born on July 18th. I finally finished the handwork on my quilts and will be passing them on to my boys! I enjoyed learning from you – you are an excellent and patient teacher! It was a great experience and I have beautiful quilts to show for it. I hope to come back for another project. Thanks again! Patty Grimes
