I think one of the best looking combination’s on a quilt is strict straight line shapes combined with circles. The two together have wonderful visual interest.
Jill brought me this quilt in great contemporary fabrics. Through the piecing and applique she combined the circles and rectangles to make a visually rich top.
We chose to use the Double Bubble all over, edge to edge pantograph for the quilting. This pattern has different size circles, some of which are nested together. It turned out great on this quilt.
I love it when the quilting adds a separate dimension onto a quilt top. This one is a winner!
