Spring has sprung in my quilt studio thanks to Rosemary! She made this artistic machine applique floral quilt.
Each block is different and the machine applique extends out of the white square on point into the setting triangles.
The sashing is treated as one unit and the nine patch cornerstones have a simple flower design that mimics the simple arches in the sashings.
The outer border has a twisty leaf that reflects the leaves found in all the applique blocks.
I wanted the background filler behind the flowers to be feminine and a little romantic. The filler combines feather plumes with curls and echos. It adds a lot to the quilt, don’t you think?
There are a tons of photos so I’ll just be quiet and let you enjoy the eye candy!
