Cynthia England is an incredibly talented landscape quilt artist. Her quilts are so realistic and they look like you could just walk right into them. Cynthia’s most recognized quilt, Piece and Quiet, was chosen as one of the “The Twentieth Century’s Best American Quilts” in 2000. She has also won TWO Best of Show awards at the Houston International Quilt Festival.
Can you imagine being able to learn how she manages to paper piece these beauties? Well, I found out today that she is going to be teaching classes in June in Louisville at one of my local quilt shop gems, Austin’s Sewing Center. What an unbelievable opportunity to learn from such an accomplished quilter! She teaches nationally and we are so lucky to be able take a class from her without having to travel.
Here’s more info about the classes and photos of the class projects you can make. If you want to register do it quick because space is limited. You can call (502) 451-9999 and tell them I sent ‘ya!
